Peach Flare, a five-color serigraph, illustrates the spontaneous and expressive qualities that are fundamental in Chihuly's works in glass and on paper. A maroon base grounds the classic Ikebana form while saffron fronds stretch above and beyond the boundries of the paper. An overlay of acrylic handwork shifts from metallic gold to bright chartreuse adding a metamorphic effect to the composition.
